Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS)

The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) is a professional standards body.  Through its leadership, standards and code of ethics, it ensures that practising Quantity Surveyors are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence.

The Institute is a national organisation with Chapters and Divisions in all States and Territories. It also has a strong overseas membership and is the Australian peak body to the International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC) and the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS).

International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC)

The International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC) is a nonpolitical and nonprofit organization which was founded in 1976 with the object of promoting cooperation between national and multinational cost engineering, quantity surveying and project management organizations worldwide for their mutual wellbeing and that of their individual members.


Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS)

The Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS) is an international association of national organizations representing Quantity Surveyors in the Asia and Western Pacific region. Members include quantity surveying and cost engineering institutions from 13 countries and cities including Australia, China, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Malaysia, Fiji, Brunei, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Philippines, South Africa (observer), Indonesia and Hong Kong.
