Visa Information

It is the responsibility of all attendees to ensure they have the correct VISA and a valid passport for entry into Australia.

Under Australia’s universal visa system, all visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia (other than New Zealand passport holders who will normally be granted a Special Category visa on arrival, provided they meet health and character requirements; and permanent residents of Norfolk Island who may be granted a Permanent Resident of Norfolk Island visa on arrival).  For more information, see the fact sheet:

There are many visa options available to people wishing to visit Australia. The appropriate visa option will depend, amongst other things, on the person’s purpose for visiting Australia.

Please click here for fact sheets on the visa options that may be most suitable for you.

Please ensure you apply for your visa well in advance of your intended date of travel to Australia.  Information about visa processing times is available on the Department’s website:

The conference is registered with the International Event Coordinator Network (IECN) of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP). The AIQS provides details of paid registered delegates through the IECN to assist in the VISA application process.

Please note: Granting of VISAs into Australia is solely governed by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, the AIQS and ICEC-PAQS 2018 Conference is unable to influence this process.
